Our next meeting is on a Friday Night. Be sure to mark your calendars for a great lecture/demonstration with Michael Persiano on Friday, November 16th, at 7:30 pm. If you haven’t paid your dues, kill two birds with one stone and bring the money with you to the meeting.

The Krohn Bonsai Show on October 20 and 21, co-chaired by John Carroll and Dennis Schoeny, was interesting and several ways, as compared to shows in the past.

First of all, attendance was down—not because the show failed to be advertised. On the contrary, this show received at least three write-ups in the local newspapers. The weather was almost perfect to attract the public to outdoor activities. Certainly, there was no shortage of fine bonsai material.

One thing that went well for the show was that we had a good supply of experienced hosts and hostesses to answer the multitude of bonsai questions that were asked.
